Good Morning - I was unable to post yesterday because of internet issues so I will get you up to date.

Saturday proved to be a very challenging day for Cliff, Jason, Sheila, Evan and Jen as they had several flight delays.  Jen's luggage went to Miami without her but it did arrive in Belize mid-afternoon on Sunday.

Sunday was a busy day.  The only day we get to sleep in (past 5:00 a.m.).  We attended Mass at 9:00 then had a reception at the church in our honor.  Taco's for breakfast are great!!  Then it was off to the sites.  Jason's team started the concrete work at the burnt house site.  Jay and his team also did concrete work on the bath house at the burnt site.  Cliff was able to get to his site as the water is starting to go down some.  He will be adding an addition and fixing the deck outside the door.

At the church, the siding was primed, with the help of many of the parish children.  It got pretty wild at times.  We told Bernie not to look at the painting process!!

Many of the children stayed all afternoon and helped, played, or caused a little havoc.  But it is so much fun to reconnect with the people and children after a year has passed.

As the day progressed a lot of work was accomplished.  The weather is warm and humid and we tend to tire easily.  We are very aware to continue to drink lots of water/fluids.

Later in the afternoon we went for a ride to see some of the families we helped last year.  Then we went to Freddie's (whom we had helped the first year, and he worked with us last year).  It was Freddie's birthday and he had prepared a feast for all of us.  BBQ chicken, beans, coleslaw and cake!!  It was amazing but the best part was the friendship bond that has been formed between all of us and his family.  We are truly blessed.

Below are many pictures of the reception, sites, and the birthday party.  I will try to keep them in some sort of order.

Monday has arrived bright and sunny and warm.  We have been to Mass had breakfast and they are busy working already.  We hope you all have a wonderful day.
